[Podcast #38] How Enrollment Services Uses Facebook to Generate Leads For Their Debt-Relief Program
Hello hello, MindFire Nation! Today, we are excited to share with you the latest episode of Pixels and Ink, where we bring you the best tips, tricks, and strategies for using multi-channel marketing to dramatically boost your leads and sales. The topic this week? How Enrollment Services uses Facebook to generate leads for their debt-relief program.
In this Episode, we are joined by Ryan DellaPena, Vice President of Marketing for Enrollment Services, who talks about how Facebook has become an integral part of their lead generation strategy, and a key component of their multi-channel approach. He’s gone from a skeptic to a believer and lucky for us, we get to hear exactly how they use the social media platform to see tangible results in their marketing.
Ryan recognizes that one of the biggest challenges in marketing is finding the person or company who needs the services you are trying to sell. It’s about connecting with your solution, the person or company who has the challenge or the need. At the end of the day, isn’t this what we’re all trying to do!?
In Ryan’s case, they offer a debt-relief program called The Fresh Start Campaign. His goal in initially trying out Facebook was to reach a larger and more diverse audience than they were getting through other channels, and given the results they’re seeing, he now recognizes Facebook as a critical component of his lead generation strategy. By leveraging Facebook Advertising, Ryan and his team are able to tap into a large group of people (over 1.2 billion!) and generate discussion and interest in his program.
But Facebook, of course, is not the only channel they use, and just like many of us, Ryan and his team focus on a multi-channel strategy. Make sure to to tune into the Episode to hear how Ryan took the plunge and began using Facebook in conjunction with direct mail, email, and landing pages to create a well-rounded, multichannel program. One main takeaway? Test test test! He urges others to try it, test it, and find a niche that best serves your needs.
Before actually using it, many people think that there is only one way to advertise on Facebook, but the truth is, there are so many different ways to leverage the platform. Throughout the session, we coach on various applications that can help you diversify the ways that you connect, attract, and engage, prospects and customers.
Some of the creative ways we discuss in the Episode:
- Facebook Messenger App allows you to message leads immediately and directly to cut down on time between a click and phone call and gives leads a way to ask quick questions in real-time.
- Facebook Videos offer a great way to disperse information on your product that engages users.
- Facebook Discussions about your product will create communities that are interested in your product.
- “Likes” and “Shares” will spread your content to even more viewers, and Facebook will reward you with lower costs.
- The “Live Feature” allows you to give real-time speeches, demonstrations, or updates to interested parties.
The point is this: Whether you are an avid and loyal Facebook user or the type of person who avoids the site and social media, as does Ryan, Facebook is a marketing channel that will reach the “internet-oriented” people that tend to ignore mail leads, and is absolutely worth testing for your lead generation!
